This young woman presented for rhinoplasty consultation with South Jersey rhinoplasty surgeon, Dr. Anthony Corrado. The patient was unhappy the overly wide appearance of her nose. She also felt her nose appeared “long”, and she was unhappy with a ptotic “droopy” tip which severely plunged when smiling. She sought a more delicate nose which would be in better balance with the rest of her facial features without having an overly “done” appearance. The patient’s surgery consisted of reduction in the width of her nose with nasal osteotomies. Nasal tip refinement was also performed to provide tip support, increased tip rotation, as well as mild tip deprojection. Surgery resulted in a more delicate, but naturally appearing nose which served to only enhance the patient’s existing facial beauty. The patient was very pleased with her results.
